Spare Cash Saturdays Tip – Online Surveys

in Money Making Tips

I started participating in these while I was home on maternity leave. I did end up making a little bit of extra cash, which was great considering I didn’t really have to “do” anything. They are extremely easy, but they do take a little bit of time.
On average, you’ll make about $5 per survey and probably qualify for 3-5 of those a month.  Some programs work on at points basis, similar to Swagbucks, in which you earn points and redeem for gift certificates or other great prizes.  Plus, with some of these, you’ll also have a chance to earn money (not much) by reading and clicking emails. Most companies enforce a minimum amount you have to earn before you can “cash out.” That amount varies by company – usually between $20 and $30.
Bottom line – you won’t get rich off of these, but if you have the time, it’s a great idea for a little spare cash.
There are TONS of survey companies out there, but I’ll start with the top 10 companies I’ve either used myself, or have come highly recommended by friends. I’d recommend you take a look at each one and get a feel for how they work and determine which ones work best for you. There’s never any obligation once you sign up for these.
SurveySpot – I’ve heard lots of great reviews about this one. One of the best things about it is that the payout is really low – only $5 – so you can start earning money really quickly.
Opinion Outpost– This was a favorite of a friend of mine and I just joined. Payout on this one is also only $5.00.
Ipsos I-Panel  – Another really pretty popular one. Also, men can sign up for the I-Panel for men with surveys focussed more on men’s products and opinions.
Inbox Dollars – $5 sign up bonus

Unique Rewards – $5 sign up bonus

Like I said, there are so many more of these out there, but those are a pretty good start.  If you’ve tried any of these, please leave a comment below and share your experience!
